Ecological Prints is a self-published, written, and photographed book created in 2017. This book was part of my senior exhibition project as an undergraduate student in the Fine Arts Program at La Sierra University. Ecological Prints communicates the methods of eco-dyeing and printing; the process includes gathering plant specimens, extracting dye and prints from the leaves, and transitioning them onto fabric and paper. The intimate photographs and meditative words seek to inspire reflection on the beauty of nature and the purpose it holds.

Ecological Prints was recognized and awarded ‘Best of Show’ at the Annual Art + Design Student Exhibition in the Brandstater Gallery at La Sierra University.
